Having some really conflicting feelings about The Name of the Doctor.

It was a good episode imo, it was. But from a personal viewpoint, I think they spent a bit too much time on Jenny, Vastra, and Strax. Not that I don’t like their characters, because I do, but I just felt that a finale should have focused more on the Doctor. I LOVED River though. The explanation of Clara really made me come to terms with her character, and now I think I’ll be able to make the decision on whether or not I like her. Which, I’m thinking I do like her.

Also getting frustrated that people are misunderstanding John Hurt’s character. He’s not the Twelfth Doctor, because Matt and Jenna have already confirmed for series 8. Like the Doctor said, he’s him, but not the Doctor. Confusing and hard to wrap the mind around but it does make sense.

The best moment from tonight’s Doctor Who was when the Doctor mentioned bee keeping and all I could think of was the Doctor & Sherlock living on some farm together arguing about how to raise bees.
